Lead Software Engineer

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Responsible for the analysis, architecture, designing, development, code review, and maintenance of software components used for the rapid development of services. Work to build and modernize applications on latest technology stack using mature programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, design patterns, multi- threading/concurrent programming procedures and techniques. Provide high-quality technology solutions that help streamline the development of services to address business needs. Work closely with solution architects, product managers, and development teams both within and outside of the organization for large-scale IT projects. Responsible for profiling, software troubleshooting and monitoring functions for an extremely high transaction rate and low to zero downtime-based applications. Responsible for defining and maintaining design guidelines, coding standards, software methodologies and processes. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Software Engineer, Architect, Senior Consultant, Technical Lead, Software Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Software Engineer, Architect, Senior Consultant, Technical Lead, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
