**About the Company**

Hobart, part of the Illinois Tool Works (ITW) Food Equipment Group, is a leading supplier of commercial food equipment. The UK branch operates in two primary areas: Equipment and Service, generating approximately £70 million in revenue. The business, based in Peterborough, employs around 270 people, including 100 field-based Service Technicians and 30 Area Sales Managers across the UK. Hobart is renowned for its commercial Warewashing products, recognized globally for superior total cost of ownership and wash performance, catering to major food service and retail customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

**IT Leadership**

• Lead and support the IT team, managing the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support of IT systems (servers, PCs, software, and hardware).

• Monitor IT performance and propose infrastructure improvements.

• Ensure adherence to corporate IT security policies.

• Identify risks, conduct cybersecurity assessments, and support penetration testing with timely corrective actions.

• Manage all business applications, including third-party solutions and integrations, ensuring reliable and efficient operations through service-level commitments.

• Oversee vendor relationships and ensure performance aligns with service agreements.

• Establish an incident response plan for unexpected IT challenges.

• Manage IT budgets and propose capital investment projects.

• Develop and enhance IT team skills to create a diverse and strong talent pipeline.

**ERP Leadership**

• Develop and execute an ERP strategy, guiding the ERP project team to meet goals on time and within budget.

• Lead the selection of the ERP implementation partner.

• Drive business process transformation in alignment with SAP best practices.

• Document existing business processes and functional requirements for SAP customizations.

• Perform fit/gap analysis with the project team and SAP partner.

• Define integration and user acceptance testing protocols.

• Oversee end-user training and develop system documentation.

• Manage the transition from legacy systems to SAP S4/HANA, planning for go-live and post-launch support.

• Serve as the technical lead for SAP S4/HANA and build a support team for ongoing ERP needs.

**Key Qualifications and Skills**

• Expertise in IT infrastructure and operations management, demonstrating ownership, accountability, and independence.

• Significant experience with ERP design and implementation, preferably SAP .

• Strong knowledge of system integration, particularly SAP add-ons.

• Familiarity with Agile software development methodology.

• Proficiency in Microsoft and AWS technologies

• Knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.

• Experience with legacy system migrations.

• Effective change management skills.

• Strong business acumen and leadership capabilities, paired with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
