Remote Financial Assistant

**Position Overview**

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Remote Financial Assistant to join our finance team. **Key Responsibilities**

* **Financial Reporting:** Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
* **Transaction Management:** Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and processed in a timely manner.
* **Budget Support:** Help develop and monitor budgets, track expenditures, and identify variances to support financial planning.
* **Cash Flow Management:** Oversee daily cash flow activities, including bank reconciliations and managing financial transactions.
* **Compliance:** Ensure all financial activities adhere to local and international regulations, as well as company policies.
* **Data Management:** Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
* **Audit Assistance:** Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
* **Process Improvement:** Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
* **Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments to gather financial data and support cross-functional projects.
* **Administrative Support:** Perform general administrative duties related to the finance department, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.

**Qualifications**

* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
* **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial assistant or similar role, preferably in a remote setting.
* **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
* **Knowledge:** Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* **Skills:**
