What is a Care Navigator?
A care navigator, also known as an Educator, is the healthcare professional who ensures that patients get the best care possible.
**Responsibilities:**
* Supporting our patients. Providing them with a hospitable & knowledgeable experience through education calls.
* Guiding the Patient Care Navigator on your team
* Answering Emails
* Utilizing Microsoft Teams
* Using GoToMeeting for all patient calls – video and audio
* Assisting benefits team with additional documents as needed
* Submitting Private Pay Requests
* Maintaining patient advocate program
* Weekly Task assignments
* Back-up for Patient Care Navigator
* Maintain clean workspaces
* Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff, and patient information
* Attend in-person meetings & trainings as required
* All other tasks as assigned
**Requirements:**
* RN, CST, or equivalent
* Breast Cancer Navigator Certification preferred
* 3-5 years of clinical experience
* ·Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Ability to go up and down stairs and lift up to 50 pounds
