Social Media Coordinator

**Position Summary:**

This is a remote position but must be near the DMV area for mandatory in-person events.

**Key role:**

Responsibilities include creating engaging content, monitoring trends, collaborating on campaigns, conducting research and analyzing metrics. No extensive work experience is required, but dedication to learning and a passion for social media and digital marketing is vital. Work closely with mentors and supervisors to explore various communications disciplines and build meaningful connections within the company.

**What we’re looking for:**

* Create engaging content for ASRC Federal’s social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
* Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and relevant discussions.
* Collaborate with marketing teams on social media campaigns promoting ASRC Federal’s brand and initiatives.
* Conduct research on social media marketing best practices and provide optimization recommendations.
* Track and analyze social media metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
* Support planning and execution of virtual events, including live social media coverage (LinkedIn Lives, Instagram Reels).
* Stay updated on industry trends and social media platform changes, sharing insights with the team.
* Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on detail and creativity.
* Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) required.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
* Prior experience with social media/workflow management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Hootsuite, Buffer) preferred.
* Passion for digital marketing and social media, eager to learn and grow in the field.
* Commit to at least 10-15 hours per week
* Remote position, but candidates must be located near the DMV area.
* Proactively addresses roadblocks, approaches problem-solving from multiple angles, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

**Calendar:** Start Date (09/09/2024)

**Hours per Week:** 10 – 15 hours per week
